Thank-you to all the parents who supported the fundraising efforts at the Coleraine Show this year with their contributions.
The baked goods, food items and preparation, cleaning, cooking of and serving of delicious home-made goods are much appreciated by the whole community. The day was a great success, thanks to the organisation of Beccy and the Fundraising team. The income received from the day means, in addition to our sponsorship agreement with the Bendigo Bank, monies raised from fundraising activities in 2016 will reach our yearly fundraising target!
This money goes toward the 'extras' involved in running the kindergarten-the cleaner, the staffing and costs associated with running a Three-year Old Programme (which receives no government funding), the upgrading of play equipment, our learning space and so on. It is a tremendous effort for a small community to voluntarily fundraise the target of approximately $10000 annually. Well-done everyone involved and thank you to the children, Teacher and Educators for supplying the beautiful artworks which brightened up the pony club hall and made such a wonderful atmosphere for the wider community to enjoy.
